Terms of Service
Last updated July 25, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rendral API, dashboard, and website at rendral.com (the "Service"), operated by Rendral("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The service
Rendral renders HTML and URLs into PDFs, screenshots, and images, and provides related document tools (merge, watermark, page operations), reusable templates, and asynchronous jobs, accessed over an HTTP API.
2. Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your API keys secret. Do not share keys or embed them in public clients. Notify us promptly at support@rendral.com if you suspect a key has been compromised; you can revoke and rotate keys from your dashboard at any time.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- render, generate, or distribute unlawful, infringing, or malicious content;
- submit content or URLs you do not have the rights to process;
- attack, probe, or overload any system — yours, ours, or a third party's — including via the URLs you ask us to render;
- circumvent quotas, rate limits, scopes, or plan restrictions; or
- resell the Service as a substantially similar rendering API without our written consent.
We may suspend accounts that place the Service, our infrastructure, or other users at risk.
4. Plans, billing, and refunds
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor (Stripe). Each plan includes a monthly document quota; usage beyond it is either metered as overage (where enabled) or blocked, as described on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from the billing portal, effective at the end of the current period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the HTML, URLs, and assets you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service. We do not sell it or use it to train models. Rendered output and job data are retained only for the limited windows described in our Privacy Policy, then deleted.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and formal uptime commitments apply only where a plan or separate agreement states one. We may modify, add, or discontinue features; where a change is materially adverse to a paid plan, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. 5, 7, 8) survive.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions about these Terms? Contact us at support@rendral.com.
